Kigs Apex LLP (registration No. LLP-QYFERZPB) is a Kenyan technology company working from Parklands, Nairobi. Our primary business is the design, development, and operation of AI-powered software products and workflow-automation systems for African SMEs and enterprises. Alongside that we run AI and data-governance advisory, cybersecurity services, engineering and BPO delivery, custom software development, applied research, and professional training. Three co-founders, hands-on, shipping into our own market.

Founding

Kigs Apex LLP formed

Three co-founders registered Kigs Apex LLP in Kenya (Registration No. LLP-QYFERZPB) to build SaaS products for African operators, initially funded by AI consulting and engineering services.

Product 1

CashTrace MVP shipped

First cloud receivables product, invoice tracking, M-Pesa + bank reconciliation, automated WhatsApp reminders, deployed to Google Cloud Run with open beta signup at cashtrace.kigsapexsolutions.com.

Product 2

Rentisha launched

Property operations platform for Kenyan landlords and agencies, M-Pesa rent collection, KRA eTIMS invoicing, arrears recovery, AI leasing agent, live at rentishaproperty.com and taking founding pilots.

Working from the 6th floor of I&M Bank House on 1st Parklands Avenue, Nairobi. Expanding each product with Kenyan pilots; services fund the next release cycle.

Built where it will be used

Our products live and die on the specifics of Kenyan business, M-Pesa paybills, KRA eTIMS filing, WhatsApp-first tenants, bank SMS formats. We ship in-market, from Nairobi, against real operational constraints.

Ship the product, not the deck

Both CashTrace and Rentisha run in production on Google Cloud Run today. Our default is a working system, not a PowerPoint. Services revenue funds product development; product feedback keeps services honest.

Compliance is a feature, not a cost

KRA eTIMS submission is built into every invoice Rentisha issues. ODPC consent is captured at tenant onboarding. SMS routes through a CA-licensed provider. We treat Kenyan regulatory fit as product design, not legal overhead.

Honest scope

We will tell you when AI isn't the right fit, when your timeline isn't realistic, or when a simpler system will work better. We'd rather scope a smaller project we can deliver than a larger one we can't.

Alvin Kigondu

Founder

Chief Executive Officer

Alvin Kigondu, known to most simply as Kigs, is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kigs Apex Solutions, leading the company's strategy across its SaaS, BPO, and AI/automation lines of business. He guides a team building software designed, first and foremost, for how African enterprises actually operate, mobile money rails, WhatsApp-first communication, local regulatory regimes, and the operational texture of markets like Kenya, rather than imported tools retrofitted after the fact. That conviction shapes every product the company ships, from Rentisha, its property management platform, to CashTrace, its receivables management system. Working closely with co-founders Florence Nungari Kigondu and Anne Kigondu, Kigs is building Kigs Apex into a long-horizon African technology company with a credible presence in PropTech, fintech, data annotation, and AI governance. His background sits at the intersection of engineering depth and commercial instinct, with a technical grounding that runs from embedded systems and AI/ML through to cloud infrastructure and enterprise architecture. Kigs completed a BSc in Microprocessor Technology and Instrumentation at the University of Nairobi, and has worked on projects spanning machine learning, signal processing, antenna theory, and quantum mechanics. He is a hands-on leader, involved in architecture reviews, pilot rollouts, and customer conversations in equal measure.

Florence Kigondu is a founder and Director of Project and Product Delivery at Kigs Apex LLP, bringing over 20 years of Information Technology experience to the organization. Her career spans the full technology delivery lifecycle, from translating complex business needs into actionable technical requirements to leading cross-functional teams toward on-time, high-impact outcomes. With deep expertise in technology-driven solutions that improve business operations and revenue performance, Florence has consistently bridged the gap between strategic vision and execution. Her work spans healthcare IT, revenue cycle management, Fintech, SaaS product delivery, and enterprise systems implementation across both corporate and startup environments. Florence holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) designation, and a Google Project Management Certificate. At Kigs Apex, she leads product and project delivery with a mission to build scalable, market-ready technology solutions for African businesses.
