We are a founder-run team of six in Parklands, Nairobi, building and operating CashTrace and Rentisha. The team is small enough that you would own real surface area in production within your first month.
Both products are live and moving real money. What you ship reaches Kenyan businesses the same week, and you are the one who hears about it when it breaks.
M-Pesa rails, KRA eTIMS filing, WhatsApp-first support, the Data Protection Act. The hard parts here are not the ones a generic SaaS team spends its time on.
No layers between you and the deploy. You scope the work, ship it, and watch how it behaves in production.
Six people. Decisions get made in a conversation rather than a committee, and you will be asked what you think.

Own the models behind Rentisha's tenant messaging and leasing automation. That means intent classification over conversations that switch between English, Swahili and Sheng, ranking which vacancy to surface for an enquiry, and keeping inference fast enough to answer on WhatsApp in real time.
What we're looking for:
Build the surfaces customers use every day: the landlord and tenant portals in Rentisha, the receivables dashboard in CashTrace, and the APIs underneath both. Next.js on the front, Node and Postgres behind it, deployed to Google Cloud Run.
What we're looking for:
Our advisory practice funds product development, so this role decides what we take on. You would scope engagements with Kenyan enterprises, work out where automation actually pays back, say so plainly when it does not, and stay involved through delivery.
What we're looking for:
Two halves. Harden the products we operate, against the posture we publish on our security page, and deliver the reviews our advisory clients pay for. Expect application and cloud security work, plus open-source detection tooling (Wazuh, Suricata, cloud-native logs) tuned to a client environment.
What we're looking for:
We hire when the work demands it rather than on a schedule. If you have built something you think we would find interesting, send it over with a note on what you would want to own here.
